Google actually began incorporating geo-tagged photos into Street View last year, but they've now added a new photo-viewing interface for users moving through a Street View tour of well-captured areas. That allows you to peek at places that weren't accessible by Google's camera-topped cars, and also provides more angles on any area you're looking at.
